Pre-Conference 4, Crisis Management Exercise - Come and Play The Disaster Game

Sue Kerr, CBCP
Session Description:
Dealing with a Crisis is obviously no game but dealing with them takes training and skill. Join this session to
enhance your response capability through a table top role play exercise focusing on a Hazmat incident that has
OSHA implications. You will receive an opportunity to exercise your decision-making skills in dealing with this
disastrous situation.
During this fast paced and intense session, you will have an opportunity to work through The Disaster Game. You
will be assigned roles representing the typical roles within a Corporate Crisis Management Team. You will be
presented with a scenario that will put you and your team to the test as you work through the consequences of
the disaster. Through The Disaster Game, you will learn to think through a crisis in your role as a safety
professional and through the eyes of others in various roles within the organization.
