Session Description:

NFPA 70E will be released in October 2008 by the NFPA, as a 2009 standard. There have been significant
changes to the new standard as compared to the 2002 and 2004 versions. Each participant will be made aware
of many of the changes that will impact their work environment. NFPA 70E is the standard that details the how to
comply with the NFPA 70 (Electrical Code) and the OSHA standards.

 

Speaker Bio:

Vincent Milleris the Safety Director for the Washington DC Chapter of the National Electrical Contractors
Association (NECA) and also maintains a private consulting business specializing in Risk Assessments, Fall
Protection, Confined Space and Electrical Safety. He holds the titles of Certified Safety Professional, Certified
Safety & Health Manager and had the title of Certified Utility Safety Administrator and Accredited Safety Auditor.


Vince has been the President of the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) - National Capital Chapter,
Board of Directors of the Northern Virginia Chapter of ASSE (NOVA)
