Strategic planning is something corporations do to thrive and survive. How does safety become part of the strategic planning process? What data do you need? Where do you want to go? These questions are answered, as well as examples from case studies.
Speaker Bio:
Paul has over 28 years experience in SH&E. Since July 2007, he has been the Vice President with ESIS Global Risk Control Services. ESIS is a global consulting company - part of ACE INA Insurance Co - with over 500 representative’s world wide. His role is to assist ESIS customers in the implementation, delivery and assessment (audit) capabilities, to include the development of strategic planning, leading metrics, management systems, etc. Prior to ESIS, Paul was the President and Owner of STAR Consultants, Inc. for 11 years. He regularly teaches Management Systems, Strategic Planning, and Risk Assessment at conferences throughout the US.
Paul has his M.H.S in Occupational Safety and Health, Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, Maryland. He is a CIH, CSP and CPEA with S&H, BEAC being his special areas of expertise. Paul currently lives in Annapolis, MD, and enjoys fishing and boating.
