This years’ Student Research Presentation Session is lining up to be one of the best.  We have 7 students coming to present on both Original Research or a Research Critique from current research completed in the Safety and Health field of study.  Schools that are participating include

• North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University (NCA&T) – Greensboro, NC
• East Carolina University – Greenville, NC
• Benedict College – Columbia SC
• Embry Riddle Aeronautical University - Daytona Beach, Florida

All students in the Region are invited to attend the conference, but only a select few are invited to present their posters.  These students must be in an SH&E program, either as undergrad or graduate student.  This allows an excellent opportunity for the students to demonstrate to professionals in their future careers what is occurring in the research corner of the SH&E profession.

Chapters within Region VI have donated money to provide these students with the opportunity to attend the conference and present on their research.  The students must create a poster for all of the attendees to view the research. This poster will be on exhibit during the entire conference and the students will be present to discuss their projects.  In addition, on Thursday afternoon, each student gives a 10 minute presentation, followed by 5 minutes of Q&A to the attendees of the conference.
